Risk disclaimer

Fib levels are statistical references, not guarantees — combine with structure and price action.

How are fib levels used?

The swing range is split by 0.236/0.382/0.5/0.618/0.786, projected up from the low and down from the high — common support/resistance references.

Extension = high + 0.618 × range, a projection above the breakout.

How to use

  1. Enter the swing high and low (order does not matter).
  2. Click Calculate for both retracement sets and the extension.

Formula

  • Range = |high − low|
  • Up level = low + ratio × range
  • Down level = high − ratio × range
  • Extension = high + 0.618 × range

Example

High 21,000, low 19,000 (range 2,000): 0.5 gives 20,000 both ways; 0.618 gives 20,236 up and 19,764 down.

This is level math, not a forecast.

FAQ

Which ratio should I trade?

No advice here; 0.382/0.5/0.618 are watched most, but validity depends on context and confirmation.
