Risk disclaimer
A range-position conversion; not a break or reversal signal.
What does the position mean?
50% is the middle; near 0% hugs the low and near 100% hugs the high.
Above the top it exceeds 100% and below the bottom it is negative — handy for watching breaks.
How to use
- Enter the range high and low.
- Enter the current price.
- Click Calculate for position and midpoint offset.
Formula
- Position = (price − low) ÷ (high − low) × 100%
- Mid offset = (price − mid) ÷ mid × 100%
Example
Range 100–110, price 106 → position 60%, mid offset +5%.

FAQ
Same as Fibonacci position?
