What is a DCA calculator?

DCA invests a fixed amount at fixed intervals. Assuming a constant average per-period return r, the future value approximates a geometric series: with amount P over n periods, final ≈ P × ((1+r)ⁿ − 1) ÷ r.

This is a math estimate under a constant-return assumption; real markets move, so treat r as your average expectation.

How to use

  1. Enter the amount per period (USDT).
  2. Enter the number of periods (e.g. monthly for 12 months → 12).
  3. Enter the average per-period return % (0 means no growth).
  4. Click Calculate to see final value, total invested and total gain.

If you would rather not compute and place orders by hand each time, the parameters and rules you settle on here can be executed automatically by a quant system such as CubeQuants.

Estimation formula

  • Final = P × ((1 + r)ⁿ − 1) ÷ r
  • Invested = P × n
  • Gain = Final − Invested

Example

100 per month for 12 periods at 0%: final = invested = 1,200.

At 5% per period: final ≈ 1,591.71, gain ≈ 391.71.

FAQ

Is the return assumption realistic?

It is a constant-return simplification. Real DCA value fluctuates with markets; r is only your average expectation.

Difference from an average-entry calculator?

Average-entry prices existing buys; this projects a future value under an assumed return.

Can these calculations be executed automatically?

Yes. Work out the parameters and risk limits here first, then hand the same rules to a quant system such as CubeQuants so you don't have to place orders manually. Fills still depend on your exchange, so verify with a small size first.
