What is notional value?
Notional value is the total position amount you control. Regardless of leverage, every 1% price move changes that notional by the same 1%.
It is also the base amount used for trading fees, funding and distance-to-liquidation estimates.
How to use
- Enter the entry price and quantity.
- Click Calculate to get the notional (position) value.
Formula
- Notional Value = Entry Price × Quantity
Example
Entry 20,000 with quantity 0.1: notional = 2,000 USDT. A 5% move (+1,000) yields 100 USDT PnL.
With quantity 1 the notional is 20,000 USDT, and each 1% move equals 200 USDT.
