Risk disclaimer

This calculator provides estimates for informational purposes only; real fills include slippage.

How do you turn a % target into a price?

Long targets sit above entry: target = entry × (1 + distance%); short targets sit below: target = entry × (1 − distance%).

Use it to translate an “X% target” plan into an actual limit price.

How to use

  1. Enter the entry price and the target distance in percent (e.g. 5 = 5%).
  2. Click Calculate to see the long and short take-profit prices.

Formula

  • Long TP = Entry × (1 + Distance%)
  • Short TP = Entry × (1 − Distance%)

Example

Entry 20,000 at 5%: long TP 21,000, short TP 19,000.

At 10%: long TP 22,000, short TP 18,000.

FAQ

Are fees included?

No. For a net-profit target, add both trading fees and funding into the distance.

Relation to risk-reward?

Combine target and stop prices to derive R:R; set risk first, then the target.
