What is a take-profit price calculator?

Convert target profit into a profit per unit (target ÷ quantity), then add for longs or subtract for shorts to get the target price.

This is gross profit. For a net target, add expected fees and funding to the amount first.

How to use

  1. Choose long or short.
  2. Enter the entry price, quantity and target profit.
  3. Click Calculate to get the take-profit trigger price.

Formula

  • Reward Per Unit = Target Profit ÷ Quantity
  • Long Take Profit = Entry + Reward Per Unit
  • Short Take Profit = Entry − Reward Per Unit

Example

Long entry 20,000, qty 1, target 1,500 → take profit 21,500.

Short entry 20,000, qty 1, target 1,000 → take profit 19,000.
