Target R:R Distance Calculator

From stop distance (%) and a target risk-reward ratio, derive the required take-profit distance.

Results

Fill in the inputs and click Calculate.

Risk disclaimer

A distance conversion only; the market may never reach the target.

Relation to the R:R calculator?

That tool computes the ratio from prices; this one goes the other way — ratio × risk distance gives the reward distance.

Take-profit distance = stop distance × R:R.

How to use

  1. Enter the entry-to-stop distance (%).
  2. Enter the target R:R (e.g. 2).
  3. Click Calculate for the required take-profit distance.

Formula

  • Take-profit distance = stop distance × R:R

Example

Stop 5% with R:R 2 → take-profit distance 10%.

For 1:3 you would need 15%.

FAQ

Which direction?

Distance is directionless; apply +distance for longs and −distance for shorts.
