What is a trading fee calculator?

Most platforms charge a fee on both the open and the close, based on notional at each fill. This tool estimates both legs using entry and exit prices.

Enter the rate as a percentage (e.g. 0.05 = 0.05%). Use your actual VIP tier or discount rate for accuracy.

How to use

  1. Enter entry price, exit price and quantity.
  2. Enter the fee rate in percent.
  3. Click Calculate to see open, close and total fees.

Formula

  • Open Fee = Entry × Quantity × Fee Rate
  • Close Fee = Exit × Quantity × Fee Rate
  • Total = Open Fee + Close Fee

Example

Entry 20,000, exit 21,000, qty 1, rate 0.05%: open fee 10, close fee 10.5, total 20.5 USDT.

At a 0.02% VIP rate the total is about 8.2 USDT — fee tiers matter a lot for frequent traders.
