Risk disclaimer
Backed out from the price gap only; fees, funding and slippage are excluded.
What is it for?
Decide how much you want to make first, then back out the quantity from per-unit P&L between entry and exit.
If the exit cannot produce a profit in that direction, the input is flagged as invalid.
How to use
- Choose long or short.
- Enter entry, exit and the target P&L amount.
- Click Calculate for the quantity and per-unit P&L.
Formula
- Per unit = long:(exit−entry) / short:(entry−exit)
- Quantity = target P&L ÷ per unit
Example
Long 100→110 targeting 1,000 → per unit 10, so quantity 100.
Fees and slippage excluded; leave a small buffer in practice.
