Risk disclaimer
Estimates are for information only. Mark price, funding and fees change real equity; high leverage can approach liquidation quickly on floating losses.
What is unrealized PnL?
Unrealized PnL is the floating profit or loss of an open position valued at the current mark price — not yet locked in, and it moves with the market.
It uses the common linear formula and excludes fees and funding.
How to use
- Choose long or short.
- Enter entry, current mark price and quantity.
- Click Calculate to see floating PnL and return %.
Formula
- Long floating PnL = (Current − Entry) × Quantity
- Short floating PnL = (Entry − Current) × Quantity
- Return % = Floating PnL ÷ (Entry × Quantity) × 100%
Example
Long: entry 20,000, current 21,000, qty 0.1 → floating PnL +100, return ≈ +5%.
Short: entry 20,000, current 21,000, qty 0.1 → floating PnL −100, return ≈ −5%.
