Risk disclaimer
This calculator provides a simplified-model estimate. In one-sided moves grids keep buying into a falling market; grid trading is not risk-free.
How does this grid model work?
Using the range midpoint as the trade base, each grid's spacing % = (upper − lower) ÷ grids ÷ midpoint. Each buy-low/sell-high cycle earns about amount × (spacing% − 2×fee%).
It ignores slippage and unrealized orders; real grid bots differ because capital stays locked in unfilled orders.
How to use
- Enter the lower and upper range bounds and the grid count.
- Enter the amount per grid (USDT).
- Enter expected completed grids (full cycles) and the total fee rate %.
- Click Calculate to see spacing, profit per grid and total profit.
Estimation formula
- Spacing % = (upper−lower)÷grids ÷ midpoint × 100
- Profit / Grid ≈ Amount × (Spacing% − 2×Fee%) ÷ 100
- Total = Profit / Grid × Completed Grids
Example
Range 100–200, 10 grids, 1,000 per grid, 10 completed, 0.1% fee: spacing ≈ 6.67%, profit/grid ≈ 64.7, total ≈ 647.
With 2,000 per grid: profit/grid ≈ 129.3, total ≈ 1,293.
FAQ
Why do results look optimistic?
The model assumes every grid completes a full cycle and ignores slippage and capital tied up in unfilled orders.
Is more grids better?
Denser grids mean smaller spacing and lower profit per grid, but fills happen more often — it depends on volatility inside the range.
