What is a TWAP plan?
Hanging a huge order at once eats the book and causes slippage; TWAP cuts the total into equal time slices to soften market impact.
This tool only plans the amounts and the cadence — it cannot guarantee fills.
How to use
- Enter the total amount to buy or sell.
- Enter the slice count and the execution window in hours.
- Click Calculate for per-slice amount, interval and count.
Formula
- Per-slice amount = total ÷ slices
- Interval = window ÷ (slices − 1)
Example
Total 50,000 over 10 slices in 8h → 5,000 per slice, interval ≈ 0.89h (≈53 min).
More slices mean smaller orders but higher execution cost and monitoring load.

This tool splits by value; for quantity splitting, read “total” as your target quantity.
